This product is good. Though it was pretty much like sitting on a tarp. I used it as the base for when we go to the beach and just place my towels on top of it. It definitely is lightweight and if you aren't careful when putting it down it can easily get blown away in a light breeze. It does come with hooks to place it in the ground so it is a little bit more sturdy.I use this Camel Crown Beach Mat as a play mat for my birds. The color pops and their toys, food and treats are very easy to see and access. It is spacious and spill resistant plus super easy to clean. It holds up to washing well and tumble dries on medium in 10 minutes. It truly seems to be well made with pride. Perfect for us.Used it for a place for kids to sit while they ate pizza at a unicorn themed birthday. Worked perfectly and now we can use it for beach days!Loved this blanket! Bought it for a quick trip to the beach along the Oregon Coast which is super windy! It stayed in place + gave us enough space (3 people). I was looking for more of a picnic/beach blanket for traveling with my dog. This mat is more like a thin tarp then a mat.If you just need something waterproof for the beach it may work.This item is great! I was searching long hours to find the perfect matt but not one that will break the bank. This one was amazing! It has protected my self inflated matt from any punctures or grime. It was easy to remove any earthy stains and once it is all laid out, I use the pouch to store my waterproof blanket bag and self inflated Matt's bag and straps.
