This is my 3rd Broner hat. All of them are very well made. I got this one to provide a little more "rooftop ventilation" than their floater.As noted, it is cotton, but it seems fused to plastic sheeting underneath. Particularly after having the Floater for ~10 years, such construction makes this hat seems very rigid. Maybe you like or don't like that....I expect that construction will help during summer downpours. This hat looks like it will be very easy to clean with a brush or soapy sponge.Again, all 3 Broner hats are well made, with impeccable seams, and without any stray threads.
