This is PHI shaped ceramic dish. I had received the Zeta and the Beta as gifts and wanted to order the Phi to complete the set. For the price, it's great for small candies like M&Ms. It is not large by any means and it would not accommodate chips or any large snacks. Small candies or nuts would be perfect for these dishes IF you want to actually use them. I like them as decorative items, and these are perfect for a coffee table or as a neat place to put small pieces of jewelry. The ceramic is strong and not very thin, so they would literally have to be slammed on the floor to break - this also does not mean that they are heavy - these are also light. I enjoy them very much!
