The material is a bit too firm and rigid for my delicate feet and my right foot hurts when I walk for half an hour so. I'm expecting the show to loosen up a bit after I continue wearing it for a while, as it is the case with all brand new shoes. It is very stylish, I even put it on at home to try it with some sweatpants and they still looked great!So I returned my first pair of these, and have similar but not exact issues with the second pair I just received.My left foot is 1/2 size larger than my right. If a shoe fits my right foot, it's too tight on my left foot. If my left foot is happy, then my right shoe is a little too big.The first pair of these I received, had a huge gap in the back of the LEFT foot. It was at least a 1/2 size larger than the number on it, while my smaller right foot was too tight---so much so that they hurt just putting them on. Again, my left foot is a 1/2 size larger than my right. That means the left and right shoes were at least one whole size difference between the two, if not a size and a half. Returned that pair immediately.Second pair just arrived, and the left is still on the larger size, and the right is snug. Since these are leather on the outside (beware, some synthetic microfiber crap lines the inside of the upper fully so the benefit of leather not stinking when your feet sweat is moot...not happy about that....) I expect the right foot will stretch as I wear them and be fine, but I suspect I will need a heel pad or something to keep the left shoe from coming off when I walk in the near future, since it is on the larger size already without wear, but no where as large as the last left shoe I received, where the was about a huge of a gap between my back heel and the heel of the shoe.I checked all 4 shoes I have received, and all said they were an 8.5 size. I almost always wear an 8 in women's shoes, which is my left foot size, and my right foot is a 7.5 size. There is clearly something wrong on the production size when 2 pairs of these shoes have my left shoe too big and my right shoe too tight, so beware. Expect that you will likely have to return a pair to get one to fit right, and maybe then you will not be disappointed, and if the first pair happens to fit you OK, then you lucked out. But these are crazy too small and not true to US sizes. Plus....Clarks is going downhill in quality. I have bought them in the past because they were leather. But when you line the entire inside of the shoe with synthetic cheap crap, it negates the benefits of a leather shoe. Lesson learned, Naturalizer still makes 100% leather upper shoes that I can add a leather insole to, and then have a 100% leather inside. Shame on Clarks. They were quality shoes for decades---no more.I haven't worn them yet but did try on and walked around. With that said, buy a pair of grip pads for the soles. These are slippery when walking even on dry floors. The opening hits at an awkward point on the top of my foot. These are leather so can stretch out a bit. They are beautiful shoes. You can dress them up or wear them to work. The shipping was spot on. VERY well padded in the inner sole. They were a good purchase.These are gorgeous pumps. I’m so sorry I missed my return window as I would have ordered 6.5 Wide or upsize to 7. Simply too tights at the area hitting pinkie toes, right in the curve…. I’m stuck. Walked on bedroom carpet for 20-30 minutes while packing to break in… no luck. Wish I could exchange for a wide.The fit is perfect. The heel size is good for me; not to high and not to low. The issue I have is the curve around the top of my foot (near the toe area), it digs into the top of my foot. It hurts when I wear them for a few hours. I made this purchase to wear at Church. I am thinking once they are broke in this issue will go away. However, I have only worn them once because I don't like to be uncomfortable and I do a lot of walking at Church. Otherwise, this shoe is perfect!Good quality and priceA few days of use and the skin is scratched, I am not sure it is genuine leather because it rubs more than other leather shoes of the same brand, I also have to say that they are very comfortable for that reason my three starsLove these pumps.
