These sandals seemed extremely good quality right out of the packaging. I wore them for the first time yesterday, from morning until late at night when I went to bed. I was on my feet all day long and did not experience any discomfort. Almost like these didn’t need breaking-in! The footbed is wide and comfortable. I bought a 10 (my normal shoe size) which at first seemed a tiny bit roomy to me, but once I got used to it, I found it a pleasantly relaxed fit without seeming loose. No uncomfortable rubbing of straps anywhere. I am very happy with this purchase and looking forward to the summer months!Update: A month later I’m still loving these! I wear them almost every day and never have a problem with the straps rubbing me. This may be due to the relaxed, roomy fit. Super happy with my purchase.
